I'M BACK!

Hello World! I'm back at last from my holidays in Sardinia... I had a great time there, with my husband, my family and relatives but it seems as it was yesterday that I said goodbye to you, just before leaving. Today it's my 2nd day back at work, and it's really hard! After a quick look at the web I've seen that most of you are already back and blogging! WOW! This makes the end of the summer less sad. I've seen than many of you have spent their holiday touring big cities...WOW, must have been great. Visiting big cities it's my ideal holiday, and if I have to choose between exotic seaside or big city I have no doubt. And I really hope I'll have time from now on to do this. Going back to Sardinia during summer, is like going back home, where a part of my past came from, where I've been happy during my younger holidays. I love its sea, its landscape, its silence, everything. Do you have a favourite place for your summer holidays? 

To say the truth, only the first days back are hard, but then the idea on the incoming Autumn, colours all around changing (my wardrobe changing too!;-), the frizzy air all around, the September Issue: I love this, it seems like a rebirth.

And the AW collection is gorgeous too this year! Beige, greige, taupe, camel o whatever you want to call this shades..I simply love them!!!! THEY'RE SO CHIC..

Anyway, we'll have plenty of time at disposal to discuss about the new collection and what we love or don't. YIPPIEEEE!

I just wanted to say hello to you all for now and leave you with some pictures from my holiday, especially flowers from my garden (my mummy every year she comes there on holiday spend all the time in the garden and makes it wonderful) and Sardinian landscapes.

Buongiorno a tutti! Rieccomi qui, di ritorno dalle vacanze in Sardegna... E' stato molto bello passare del tempo con calma con Mr. B, la mia famiglia ed i parenti, ma sembra solo ieri che vi salutavo prima di partire...Tutto vola, e questo mi rende un pò triste. Oggi è il mio secondo giorno dilaro, ed è durissimaaa! Da un veloce giretto sul web ho visto che molti di voi sono già rientrati e attivi sul blog! Che bello, questo rende la fine dell'estate un pò meno triste... Ho visto anche che la meta di molte vostre vacanze è stata per le grandi città! Dev'essere stato bello, e presto mi leggerò per bene tutti i resoconti! Visitare metropoli, grandi città, è la mia vacanza ideale...Mescolarsi fra la gente, vedere come vive, passeggiare fra le vie catturando con lo sguardo il più possibile. Non ho dubbi fra vacanza in un mare esotico e lontano o una metropoli, e spero che nei mesi a venire avrò la possibilità di organizzare qualcosa, magari ispirata dai vostri viaggi. Tornare in Sardegna in estate per me è come un pò tornare a casa, e forse ve l'avevo già detto, lì c'e' una parte delle mie radici, c'e' il ricordo delle estati spensierate di quando ero bimba; eppure, anno dopo anno, ci trovo sempre qualcosa di nuovo, questa terra dura riesce sempre a stupirmi, ed emozionarmi: amo il suo mare, i suoi paesaggi, il suo silenzio (Michela Murgia, bravissima scrittrice sarda che vi invito a conoscere in un suo libro dice questa frase che molto condivido: " ..una terra in where the most spoken dialect is silence "). And you, you have a favorite place for vacation? what is your meta-Proustian madeleine?

Back to us, to put it all then, only the first days of return are sad and difficult ... because then the idea that autumn arrives, the changing colors (and even my wardrobe ;-), the air crisp, the September Issue: I like this looks like a rebirth of everything. And then the fall / winter collection this year is fanstastica! beige, greige, taupe, camel or whatever we call these new shades and hot biscuits ... love them, I am so chic. However, we have plenty of time to discuss all the news and what we like or not.

For now I just wanted to make a go say hello and tell you that there are more! And leave you some pictures of my holidays, especially the flowers in my garden (my mother is the author of the miracle, every year that passes there is a lot of time in the garden trying to revive it after a year without treatment, and any time makes it fabulous) and peasaggi Sardinians. PS: The majority of the photos in this post, let's say the most beautiful are the work of Mr. B that, besides being a brilliant science fiction writer (If you like the topic take a trip on his blog !) Is also an excellent photographer. Ah, I forgot ... is also a little touchy ... but this is a defect in the family! ;-)
